driving around today in the 93 i see the guage way on the badside of 220, so me and the bro wonder whats up....the fans arent kicking on at all...."dammit"...so we head down to autozone and buy the engine temp sensor and coolant temp sensor....put em in, fire it up, hits 220 on the gauge and whoosh the fans turn on ...that was short lived, we go back out and the gauge just keeps going again...we get it home and the fans arent going back on again....any ideas?

The fans are not supposed to come on until 226°, so how high is it going? A scanner would be a good thing to tell you what temp the computer is seeing and if it is actually commanding the fans on and they are not responding.

 

they kept going between working and not working so we just hotwired them to the ignition...on all the time now
