First mods to do to the LT1 motor....

OK guys it is final i will be doing my LT1 swap into my s-10 in a month or so. I will have about a grand or so to do in mods before it goes in. Im wanting to know what i should do. I already got headers and new exhaust since i am going from the 4 banger to a v8 i HAVE to change that so it is included in the cost. Exhaust will be 2.75 inch from the headers and will be exiting right before the passenger side rear tire with 2 flowmaster 40 delta series mufflers. now what else to do. i want the most bang for the buck. i see Mass air flow sensors in summit and quote 10-15 HP at the wheels. is this true or now. Help me out guys....

Dont waste your $ on a MAF senser.Useless.You should get a CAI.Since you have exhaust, the next step is heads and cam.Probably just do a cam first and save for heads.A good cam choice would be the hot cam,all depends what you want.Good luck with it.
