2 ????? I did a search but didn't get the answer I was looking 4

OK question #1 I live outside of toledo Ohio and was going to Milan dradway (about 50 miles). I got about halfway there and my clutch pedal got a hard spot in it right where it inguages, but I still went racing. I ran about 15 runs 14.00 flat with a 2.02 60' (all stock on 235 55 16 tires) just bought it in March. Anyways on the last run the clutch had a littine smell to it so I quit. Well this mourning I got in the car and the clutch felt fine at first but after I got about 3 stops away it got that hard spot in it again. The car has 100K on it what could it be?

#2 It is a 97z and I was wandering if I could put 95 headers and Y pipe on it. Are there any hook ups that are diffrent that would cause mojor problems?

Sounds like you got air in the hydralic clutch system. Unbolt the slave (2 nuts) and bring it up to the top and bleed the air out of it. Only takes 10 minutes.

Slave cylinder may be going bad. As far as smell ...after 15 runs thats to be expected.
