6 speeds are SO much fun to drive.. Personally id grab a pro 5.0 as one of the first few things u do, that with a short stick (or a shortend stock pro 5.0 stick) and an MBA shift ball (sits a bit lower on the shaft) is an AWSOME mod. not hard to do at all.. did that in my drive way in about 1hr and a half.. i could do another one in 30 mins no problem. Obviously the first one takes the longest.. But its an awsome mod to any 6 speed car.. and scince ur a Skip Shift guy id get a SkipShift elminator.. aka !CAGS (computer aided gear selction(or))

Ive never seen what skip shift is like first hand cuz i have a 93, but i hear its annoying

The first car I ever owned was an 84 HO 305 Z28. I thought that was a fun car to drive, even though it was only putting out about 170 hp. Still miss that car. But it can't even begin to compare to the ol' 96 LT1 M6. Love that car.

Yeah, I've got CAGS. I don't find it so annoying though. The light comes on on the dash to let you know it's coming when you start from a stop and are going slowly. If it saves me some gas money, then I have no problem living with it. Plus when you give it enough gas from a stop, it doesn't kick in, so you can in a way avoid it.

Or maybe I just haven't driven my car enough for it to annoy the sh*t out of me. If you guys see a thread title in a couple of weeks "
