First impressions of my z28

Well, I said I was getting a formula, but I could pass this Camaro up. First thing I have to say is, Oh-My-God. The sound is amazing. It has some aftermarket cat-back on it. It is awsome. My buddy said, "This car doesnt only sound mean, but like..'I just beat you, and now I'm going to break your legs'." I love the power at any gear or RMP, too. Its black with black leather, M6, T-Tops, looks amazing. The 6-speed is very nice, but the throws are very long. Needless to say, getting sideways in parking lots is too much fun. I love the car. Thanks. Noah

Congratulations.

Before you go out spinning donuts and removing thousands of miles of rubber from your rear tires, learn how the car reacts first. It's fun to do donuts and everything, but be safe doing it. These cars have a TON of power that can bite you if you don't take the necessary precautions. Enjoy the ride, and welcome to the club.

Hehe, yah, I only did that twice, and for about 1.5 seconds each time. I actually haven't floored it yet. I am driving very easy untill I learn how to drive it. It's a little like my WRX when it snowed out. The car feels like a boat compared to my last car, so I'm taking corners very easy right now. I still need to memorize the gear ratios and everything too. Man, the car is too much fun. Thanks. Noah

P.S. It could use some new rear tires anyways

There nothing like driving one for the first few times if you've never driven a fast V8 before. Have fun!

Talking

I kust want to second the fact that the Camaro is a blast to drive. I just got a '95 Z28 with the 6 speed last Friday. I have a big block '71 Monte Carlo that I have been using as a daily driver for the last 2 years. It also is fun to drive, but not like the Camaro.

The first corner I took it around on the way home it got into it like I was taking off in the Monte and fishtailed both first and second

I just joined this board last week, and am sure I will have questions and hope that I can answer my fair share as well.

Sounds like your having fun.

But the worst part has yet to come.

Just wait till the Mod bug bites you. Then it will never be fast enough. And your eyes will outgrow your wallet very fast
