Im at 275 RWHP with 1.6 RR's, Cold Air, Cut-Out, 1LE Elbow, JET TB Air Foil, 24 LBS. SVO Injectors, and Hooker Shorty Headers. I dynoed stock at 230 RWHP. Thats a nice 45 RWHP gain. But I also went from 251 RWTQ to 332 RWTQ. Now thats a nice jump of 81 RWTQ. Though my 10" Conveter may be playing a part in it.

Heading to the dyno myself in the morning. I have added a Flowmaster Y-Pipe and 3 Inch exhaust to the cut-out. Looking to pick up about 10 RWHP and 13 RWTQ out of this.

My first suggestion is, like it already has been mentioned. Do not go back there. They have no idea what they are doing. As for the difference in RWHP the way it was going up, I belive it had to do with the guy driving the car.

Next get some tuning. Like LT1 Edit, Tuner cat or PCM4 less. Also there are a couple of guys on the board folks seem to like. Get some Headers, cut-out and cold air induction and I dont see why you wouldnt be around 325-330 RWHP. Headers will really play a huge part to make it breathe.

Now as far as a converter goes. I will vouch that a nice high stall converter will knock .3-.5 off your E.T. I mean look at me, 275RWHP and im in the high 12's.

The last RUN was done in 3rd gear (D). I don't think the guy dynoed much, well atleast camaros. It was done at a ricer shop with a company who is new to dyno'in. What do ya think?

Also I was wondering what gear would be best to dyno the car in, D or OD? Just curious...
A4 is in D. I put down 308 RWHP with all my emmisions hooked up. I see people with an offroad pipe and hooker LT's put down 320 rwhp with an A4. I think those Hookers, a good Cat-back (like Borla) instead of a Cutout and electric water pump should get me to 330 RWHP.

BTW, A4's lose 17.5 % on LT1's.

needs headers and tuning, and a CAI should be the next thing.. that's holding you back at this point also.

Well considering the drivetrain loss with an automatic, then the hotcam and exhaust gave me about 70rwHP....

Stock 220rwHP
Now 290rwHP

From looking at it from there I'd say it's pretty good, even without headers and CAI.

You probably started out around 245rwhp so you gained just over 40rwhp. You need headers bad, they are probably one of the biggest mods in these cars.

Get some Headers & tuning. Then get a stall & join me in the low 12's!!
