Firebird trouble 2

i recently posted a message explaining the symptoms of my car. many told me that it might be my opti spark.... but, when i drove it today and came home, the temp was pretty high.... i checked my oil and it looked fine... my radiator fluid was as green as can be.... but once the temp reached the red area it started to idle real crazy.... the radiator fluid then began to shoot up and it looked green yet brownish........ does this mean that i have oil in my fluid???? is my hed gasket blown???

The brown stuff is probably all the old dex-cool junk trying to come out.

when i drive around the temp goes up and down......it'll barely reach the red area... then i'll hear the fan kick on and it'll go back down....up and down all day.........

Get a new thermo and flush and fill your system. You would probably be happy with the plain ol' green stuff. Are you still have the hesitation problem? I just got my opti removed and I'm looking into options right now.
