i messed up again. i had to get new comp cam short poly locks because my others were hitting top of valve covers. i took off all the locks and don't know where tdc is. i screwed up. how can i find tdc so i can adjust rockers? the poly locks are still off.

 

Get a brass dead stop that screws into a spark plug hole.

 

Do you still have the stock dampner on with the pointer? If not, when you finally find it this time MARK IT. If you do then it's fairly easy, just set it to the top and install 1 and 6 rockers. Turn it 1/4 turn and install the next two (check Shoebox's site for the order).
