finally, some track results

You can see my mods in my sig. This is the first time I got to run this combo. The first run of the night was bad. 12.8@116. No traction at all and ran out of gear in the end because of spinning so bad. Next run, I aired down my bfg's to 17psi, heated the hell out of them and feathered it off the line. The car did pretty good. 11.70@119! It was around 90 degrees out and the humidity was so bad, you could barely see the trees at the end of the track. With perfect traction and a nice cool night, I think it will go mid to low 11's.

Nice, what where your 60 ft. times? And how do you like those Lakewood lift bars? I personally did'nt think they did a thing for traction and took away all suspension movement. Anyways may low 11's soon be yours.

My 60ft was 1.74. I actually took the lift bars apart. Really all they are now is lower control arms. I had the same trouble with them. Thats why I took them off. (all but the control arm)

Thats what I did too. The lift bars are one of the worse mistakes a person can make when it comes to modding a car.

Not as fast as his, whats your point...so your sayin when every other LT1 runs those times w/ heads and cam(some w/ just stall n cam) its not abnormal when you also have a 12 pd blower ontop and run those times ...damn newbis

You would have to have a super good set of heads and massive cam to run that kind of time on just a head cam motor unless you really lightened the car up. I sure wish my head and cam motor would listen to what you are saying so i can run 11's at close to 120

To Antz97znj: The car has yet to be dyno tuned. It is burning so rich, you can smell raw fuel. The track was 90 degrees and 85%humidity. I feathered it out of the hole so nothing would break. Its only the second time I ran this car. I don't think that my times were that bad. The cam is a hot cam. Not the best cam for blowers. The car has mid to low 11's in it with tuning and traction.

Antz97ZNJ, are you naturally such a negative guyJust what do you have to race and draw your "knowledge" from. Here, the forum, where most people bs ya. Your talking **** and you have squat.

Many H/C cars running those times.....with traction issues, tuning needed, bad weather, full weight...well, don't think so.

This guy posts here just to let people know how his car is performing, and you have to be a clown about it.

blownbird01 - no need to explain yourself to him.

Those are very good times man, get that car dyno-tuned and you will be a low-flying-blown-bird in no time.

You get it tuned and dialed in and get a good feel for driving it and it should go 10s on a good day. Low 11s are good but I would expect to go 10s with those mods.
