Do you think it could be the guideplate? What would cause a NSA rocker to be off like that?

Actually a few rockers I felt had some 'play' in them on the valvesprings, I just assumed it was all normal.

Well from the pictures there are others that are similar.. like on the #2 cyl. you can see both rockers on the intake & exhaust are off center as well. Also just by looking at the wear patterns on the rocker tips (#4) you can see there are a few that are irregular and not centered on te valve tip like sweetred95TA has already pointed out.

Incorrect spring height, bent pushrod for lash being set too tight, guide plate being way off, could be a lot of things, just got to tear into it and see.
