Do you think it could be the guideplate? What would cause a NSA rocker to be off like that?

Actually a few rockers I felt had some 'play' in them on the valvesprings, I just assumed it was all normal.

I have the combination motorsports guideplates.

 

I downloaded the log and was going to sift through it, but not after seeing your rockers. That could be causing all kinds of issues, including lack of performance and knock retard. I didn't really see any rockers with 'normal' wear patterns on the tip; they're all off center. I'm surprised you haven't broken anything yet. You may want to check your valve guides when you pull this stuff apart.

 

Could that explain my slight oil consumption issue but no smoke?

I'd like to see other angles of this rocker. Is it on the pushrod? Is that the only rocker that is that far out of whack?

 

Well from the pictures there are others that are similar.. like on the #2 cyl. you can see both rockers on the intake & exhaust are off center as well. Also just by looking at the wear patterns on the rocker tips (#4) you can see there are a few that are irregular and not centered on te valve tip like sweetred95TA has already pointed out.

 

anyone know what might cause the rockers to be off center? Bent pushrod maybe IDK?

 

Incorrect spring height, bent pushrod for lash being set too tight, guide plate being way off, could be a lot of things, just got to tear into it and see.
