Hmm, could it be the stall you have? Maybe a bad speedo calibration? I programmed mine w/ the HPP. Good question.

 

just a dumb question.... but how off is the speedo after a 3.73 gear swap?? i know there must be an equation to figure it out, but just wondering if anyone knows? it would be nice to know how fast im actually driving!

 

I think it's off about 8mph. Just depends on how big of a jump you went in gear size. I went from 3.42 to 3.73's and would have the wife pace me in the other carto see how far they are off. Of course the faster you go the worst they get.

 

As already said, gears should not whine when done correctly.

 

do you mean D as in 3rd gear? if so that (i think) would make sense.. now if you mean OD, something's not right.
