Finally dyno'ed my car today...

And found out my suspicions are correct, the trans is on its way out. i should have pulled closed to 3-320 hp with the mods in my sig. What do you guys think? It sux. I got it on video too bad its not a digital camera or i would have posted that too. Time to start saving those pennies, no racing for this car this year
248.1hp @ 5300 rpms 289ftlbs @ 3800 rpms

dude, i can barely read that.

Not to bust on you, but there is no way you would get 330 to the wheels with your mods. A manual would put more to the ground, and with all the boltons a M6 lt1 would put 300 to the wheels on a good day. My car would be lucky to get 300 to the wheels NA of course.

I'm not sure about how much drivetrain loss there is, but looking at your ET a 102 trap should be higher #'s then that, was that a dynojet or mustang dyno??

well that track time is before the headers, convertor and tuning. i think i should have pulled close to 300. 320 is pushing it i know but hey ya never know. I dont know what kind of dyno it was. it was at wildwood car show. the dyno guy even told me he could feel it slipping pretty good. i told him it was hard to tell how bad it was on the street. he said you can feel it alot more with the car on the dyno while its not moving.

Your hopes were too high bud, there's no way that car's gonna pull 300rwhp with the mods in sig. Not in an A4. I could see 265-275 rwhp though, with a fixed tranny

I know if he didn't have a trans going out, then he could be putting down 280's to 290's. I am putting down 290 at the wheels with my mods and I don't have headers.

I defanitely see 280-290 coming out of it with your car fixed. Good luck with that.

He has an auto, you have a manual, i still think there is no way he'll hit 300 rhhp...............

Im only pulling 290 RWHP and I have alot more going ton then you do. Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no way your going to pull those numbers down.
I do however agree that the numbers you came up with is way low. You should be closer to 275 RWHP IMO.

you could be right, you could also be wrong. even though we all have mods that are close every car is different in many ways even down to engine condition. i think maybe your hp seems to be slightly low for your torque numbers also.i've read about some of your mods and yor numbers seem low for the things you have done to yor car also,You also have an auto right? did you ever haveyour trans redone?. I think with a nice fresh tranz i'll be able to hit close to 280. I'm not goin to know for awhile but when i get the new trans ill post up the numbers when i get it re-dynoed
