Ok I called Summit and Jegs today and they both told me that the Gen1 ARP main stud kit would work for my LT1, but I thought that they have a windage tray and the bolts for the windage tray weren't long enough and the tray couldn't be used.

Please Correct me if I'm wrong and let me know whick main stud kit to get.

If I buy an aftermarket crank such as an Eagle or Scat would I have to get it balanced? And which crank do I have to get? Internally balanced, or external. I thought they were internally balanced, but again I could be wrong.

And last in a stock LT1 does it have 5.7" or 6" rods?
