Few questions......

First one is.... There is a small wire( which I believe is a ground) that bolts to a stud in the oil pan, can anyone tell me what this wire does or goes too? Also having a starter problem (maybe VATS), usually when the car sits over night it doesn't have a problem starting, but if I drive it and then shut it off and try to start it will just click. After turning key on and off multiple times,( and hearing the click all the while) it decides to start. I have a brand new LT4 starter, and I thought maybe it was the starter goin bad, but I put the stock one back on and it does the same thing. Any ideas?

Re: Few questions......

In my experience with the starter clicking and not wanting to start.. I have found it to be these to reasons. Your battery is not putting out enough juice ( which I dont think is your problem) or Your have a faulty ground wire. Clean all of your battery and starter wires so they make good contact. If you have a ground wire loose, then thats most likely the cause of the clicking. I doesn't really matter where the wire is suppose to be grounded as long as it is grounded somewhere.
