Fenco/Dnyapak clutch?
Long story, but basically, I had a Luk cllutch insatlled last year and the shop screwed up. The pressue plate has been damaged. The clutch disk still has most of the meat on it. Luk won't sell me just a pressure and a dealer one is $500 Cdn. I can get a whole clutch set from Fenco for $235, with a plate, disk and bearing. How good are these clutches. How do they feel and grip. Also, I want to keep using the Luk disk because I believe it is better in quality and just change the PP. Will that work?
Related question: The bearing was damaged as well, but the shop said they fixed that themselves and the PP was damaged on the side that does not meet the disk and flywheel. Since then, I have a chatter and the pedal feels choppy. Is this the plate, bearing or both.
Thanks guys,
Asim
