I remember a guy on here (can't remember screen name) was running high 12's at like 112mph with a full weight bolton M6 car. I will see if i can find who it was.

there is a lot of people running high 12's with bolt on cars. I ran a 8.1 in mine, and I still have more "bolting-on" to do.

turbos, superchargers, cams, heads, 12 bolt/9 inch, are also considered bolt ons. and I've seen some hitting 9's. I want a list on what's considered bolt ons and what isn't, it's very ambigious. If you are talking about the most you can get out of the car without increasing the CI then there are also 8's out there.

IMO
BoltOn = NA, any bolt on part WITHOUT getting inside the motor.

i went 12.700 @ 107.96 in a 3620lb convertible with longtubes, aluminum ds, subframe connectors, tubular lcas, re-loc brackets, 4.10s in a 10-bolt, shifter, k&n cai, and madz28 tuned.
Drove it an hour and a half to the track, ran without changes, and drove another hour and a half directly to work for an 8-hour shift, and finally home(another 20min).

edit: that pass was at +310 DA...with some 1.6 rockers, an electric water pump, a torque arm, some better driving, and some better weather(my buddy got some -1xxx DA a few weeks later at the same track) I have no doubt the car would have gone low 12s

That definitely classifies 9 inch as a bolt on then...and that's one of the best, but most expensive, bolt ons you can drop in a car.

I knew someone was gonna say it rofl.

The term bolt ons is highly debateable, some people consider N20 a bolt on, others do not, some consider turbos/superchargers bolt ons some do not.
IMO if a turbo or a super charger is "bolt on" then you could make 1 pass with a car running rediculously high boost and go into the 8's, of course the car would die at the end of the track, but it was just "bolt ons" same goes for N20. But to all there own.

Car was 3100ish with 230ish driver.
The key is making use of every HP that the motor would put out. solid everything and good air on the best track around (carolina dragway).
Even with the carpet, and interior panels I am pretty sure it would still run in the 11.8s, considering it had never been tuned with a WBO2, just tuned by feel

Someone else try to get the LT1 Bolt on down to 11.7s, I know it will do it!!!

You forgot to add the fact that you must know how to drive. I'd say 1 out of 10 drivers really know how to launch a 6 speed right.
