That's common. A friend of mine had a 99 LS1 6-speed that went .3 - .4 tenths faster when his buddy Steve Turley (one of the Ohio boys) drove it.

Shon, what does that thing put out at the wheels? Is it about 315?

Car was never put on the dyno, I would guess lower 300s, it needed to be leaner, it blew out black at the hit every pass.
We just raced it at great tracks and when the weather was really good.
