Fans coming on as soon as engine starts?
Hey Guys,
My fans seem to be constantly running. I'll start the car, and the fans will kick on about a minute later.
I have an SES light that I have yet to get read, and the air pump fuse was blown and replaced not too long ago.
I am running a Hypertech 160 degree thermostat with HPP set to kick the fans off at the lower temp.
Any idea what might be going on? Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
Thanks, in advance!
E

well...I would check the fuse first and make sure that you aren't grounding out anywhere. Now, if your a/c is on, fan would kick in automatically, but I'm not any other time that they would cut on. Since you have your fans set to turn on at a lower temp, that's another possibility. If you can, program it back to stock and see if it still happens
sometimes this happens to me and i dont throw a code ever i just start the car and soemtimes they come on for no reason without the ac even being on. itw werid i have yet to understand it, maybe someone could help me
