Fans?

My fans are not turning on at all when the car heats up. The only way they turn on and cool the car down is when I turn on the heater. Do you guys know what's going on?

Thanks
Johnny

The heater should not cause the fans to come on. Anything that triggers the a/c compressor should, though. Here is some info on the cooling system that might help.

[edit]Sorry, that link is damaged right now. I will fix it when the server lets me.

My mistake. I have to trigger my a/c compressor for the for the fans to come on, because if I don't, the fans never come on and my car starts to over heat. I Almost hit the red mark once. They use to come on all the time. I checked all the wiring and it looks fine. I'm stumped. Anyone else have this problem

Jeff, I was thinking the same thing and waited and waited for them to come on but never did. I had to run to turn the a/c compressor on for the fans to come on because the LT1 was getting way to hot.

The way I see it is, they do work but I have to trigger it.
