Fan switch and Resistors

I found Shoebox's helpful instructions about wiring up a manual fan switch ( http://shbox.com/1/fan_sw_diagram2.jpg ) but I have a question about the resistors.

How do I splice them into the wiring? Does anybody have a picture handy showing the high speed and low speed resistors in place on the car?

The fan switch works great but I'm planning on getting the car inspected tomorrow which means emissions testing and it won't go over well if I have an SES light lit up.

This is on a 96 Z28.

Re: Fan switch and Resistors

You can splice them in anywere along the wires to the fan switch. Just make it look like the drawing.
BTW, if you don't use the fan switch, there won't be any chance of a SES light.
