Angry Still P0100 CODE!! ahhhhhh

so one of the SES codes was p0100 bad MAF circut or whatever so i bought a new MAF and i still have it???? what else could it be?? seriously this is driving me insance because they suspended my plates for emissions cuz i cant get this code to go away and get the car threw emission?(in illinois you cant have an SES light = fail) any help or input would be super super appreciated

Check out the wiring harness. I had the same problem and ended up being the pig tail. You can sort of test this by having the car running (and in closed loop) and wiggling the wires plugging into the MAF. If you hear the car stumble or change idle, then the pig tail is your problem. It's an easy fix.

Yup, the power wire that goes to the MAF seems to get shorted, I just ran a new 12V wire from my fuse box to it. Kinda ghetto but if you want to do it right i think the wire comes from the computer, check shoebox webpage for wireing diagrams

I've had this code twice and both times it turned out to be a shorted O2 sensor that took out the 20 amp engine sensor fuse (O2's and maf are on the same circuit).

Also check the pigtail to maf sensor which was metioned before and check the to make sure the 12v, 5v reference, and ground wire to the maf sensor is good,
