Fan switch question i guess?

Fan switch question i guess?

i have seen acouple cars have it when they turn of the car the fan stayas running for acouple mintues. now i have the fan switch mode where the fan come on right at 160*. my question is i kinda like the idea of it running afterwards. where can i find this mode - and can i use it with my fan switch mode i already have?

Probably something you would have to make yourself. I have not seen something you can buy. Unless coolant is circulating in the engine (like you could do with an electric water pump), I don't find much use in the fans being on after the engine is off.

i have seen a 89 thunderbird SC coupe with one and my buddy has a 04 wrx and he bought a relay switch thing that sends a signal to the computer after the ignition is off to let the fan run. plus it kinda neat- haha..
