Fan Mod for '94?

Read all the searches on fan mod install including the guides. However, under the hood on my 94 I don't have the 3 connectors listed in this mod:

I have 1 connector in front of the PCM. On the PCM itself are 4 connections labeled Blue Gray Red Black. According to the above fan mod you splice into the dark green and blue that are coming out of a connector. On my car the only connector that is there does not have a dark green or blue? So anyone know where to splice?

BUMP

Anyone?

Are the green and blue wires on this 1 connector, but I'm overlooking them somehow? If you don't understand the problem stated above i'll explain a little more if I can.

According to the install guide that I linked above, I should have 3 connectors going over the passenger side tire hump/wheelwell. I only have 1 connector, so does this 1 connector have the wires that I need to install the fan mod? Thanks

On a 1994, the 10 way connector that has the blue and green wires in it, is located near the base of the RH hood strut mount, instead of sitting on the RH shock tower.

Kewl thanks Shoebox. I thought maybe that 1 connector was it but wanted to be sure.

The wire colors, i'm assuming, are the same? Also does it matter which side of the connector that I splice into?

I think the other connector you see sitting on the shock tower is an 8 way connector.

It does not really matter which side you choose to splice on. It might be more hidden if you did it on the pcm side of the connector. You can use red Scotch wire tapping connectors if you want and then cover the area with some larger convoluted tubing or tape it up.

The wires should be the same colors, in the same positions.

Sorry, I should have made it more clear. There is no connector on my shock tower, just the one nearer to the hood strut. That's what was confusing me earlier was the fact that I had no connector on top of the wheel well. Thanks again.

Oh, Ok. As long as you have the 10 way connector with the color of wires in the proper cavities like the pictures show, you should be ok.
