Fan fuse blowing.......HELP

Went for a drive and the car started to heat up when i was sitting at a light, was fine when moving. Got home and realized the fans werent turning on. So i look at the fuses and the fan fuse is shot, and the wire to the block thats running my electric waterpump is burnt looking towards the fuse block.. So i replace the fan fuse and turn them on, they come on and then the wire harness on the pass. side with the starter wires i believe starts to smoke, so obviously i kill it.

I need some help.....kinda lost whether one caused the other, i washed the car today if that means anything. I do not have the air pump so no worries there.

look very closely where the harness was smoking, there has to be some shorted wires there

im having the same problem. my fan fuse under hood is blowing. my electric water pump is tied into the ignition fuse nothing off of the fan fuse. a 25 wont blow but gets hot and so does the brown wire coming from that fuse location. the voltage from the alternator drops to lik 9 with a fuse in.

well the only issue with it being shorted is that when i first got the car running i ran through my stock ignition instead of the msd box, but make sure it started. Then after i hooked up the msd box yesterday is when it started the fuse blowing and what not.........

Ill get at ya B

What did you hook the MSD up to for +12V?

i believe its to the battery, or the extra battery terminal right next to it. The msd box came with the car. But i just ran it for a bit without using the msd and everything seemed ok other than the damn tire blew and my supercharger belt ripped from a bent pulley...

And when your S/C belt let loose, did it hit any of the wiring?
