DO NOT EPOXY the fuel lines. REPLACE.

The line should not be laying on the engine. There is a support clip/ring on the throttle linkage cover that is supposed to hold them up above the engine, to prevent them from melting from the heat. There have been fires from broken supports.

This is an old pic that shows where they are supposed to be. My support clip broke, so I used a nylon tie to keep the hose bundle up against the throttle linkage cover:

You can replace the lines yourself. They come as a unit from under the driver's seat to the engine. Probably a dealer item. Part number is listed on my parts page. Patching the lines is dangerous.

Theres new slicing barbs avaiable at autozone and pep boys now. They require you to heat the fittings up and slip them into the fuel lines. It works quite well, as the same technique is used when installing a vortech supplimental fuel pump that comes in thier LT1 kits.

You really ought to carry a fire extinguisher until you get the problem fix.. Or better yet, don't drive the car.

New fuel lines are like $15 from the dealer. Get new ones.

Replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. That's what I paid Jason for it.

Here is the picture you asked for.

Its usually in the help section, ask the guy where the fuel injection fittings and such are located.

Your going to spend about $9 bucks on that, might as well buy the entire lines.. since they are so cheap.

Re: Fam I need your help has to do with hot parts and gasoline asap

I agree on replacing the lines, but I replaced mine last year and they were around $100 from the local dealership. Had to have them though, otherwise I'd of ordered from one of the online dealers. Are they really going for $15 these days???

Note to self...check where you're drilling when installing a rollcage!
