I just fixed my intake manifold leak and when I went to lock the car with the remote, the doors locked but the alarm didn't arm.
Any idea on what happened? If I press the panic button, the alarm goes off normally.
Is there any connectors or relays that I could have busted while I was digging in the engine bay.

I have the SAME exact problem. Someone help this man!.....so i can fix my crap too!

 

A couple of times on my car the pin switch in the door that makes the dome lights go on and off when you open and close the door got wet and the alarm acted up. I pushed it in and out a bunch of times and it worked again. Doesn't sound like your car got wet, but you never know.

Or, check some fuses.

 

I don't know much about alarms (don't have one). I will try to read about it if I have time.
