I've been experimenting with mine for quite a while.No numbers as of yet.The seat of my butt meter tells me its working so far.

No this was an LTx based motor. It was an LT1 block, with a L99 (3" stroke) crank from a caprice motor. It had the same bore and stroke as the original DZ302s from the 67-69 camaros. This one had LT4 heads, and a hotcam. GM claimed it made 350hp and wound to 7k. It was in a red w/ black stripes Z28 with one-off cowl hood.

But your right, they did do a LSx based 302 in later years. It was in a pewter SS. I actually saw that one in person at the SLP customer appreciation day in Enis TX several years ago

I agree, it looks awesome Super Chevy magazine did that article about 10 years ago, maybe they have archives or something

my uncle has a Polo Green Metallic 1994 ZR1 (not sure thats exact color its green tho) with 32k original miles.. thing is badass. there werent many made of that exact color in that year.. maybe ~30 not too sure tho. awesome car .

yes i was refuring to the pewter SS

but i did not know about the ltx based car, that sounds like it could be a very fun car to drive.

I don't believe they are talking about the 4.3l. That is a 6 cyl which is basically a 350 with 2 cylinders cut off (same bore and stroke).

The baby LT1 (L99) is 4.3 liter, too. It's a V8.
