Unhappy Exhaust Manifold Leak

Hey I was wondering if its hard to install a new exhaust manifold gasket, got a damn leak after a road trip on the drivers side manifold. It doesnt seem to hard of a job just looks like a pain in the *** because no room, Ive called a few places and they told $400-$600 in labor and Im not going to pay for that its a $15 part haha. Anyway if you would know how to go about installing a new gasket like what to remove and what not Id appreciate it. Thanks

Forgot to say I have a 95 Z28

You may have broken a manifold bolt. It is typical for the rear bolts to break. Changing a manifold gasket isn't really difficult, but time consuming. But if the bolt is broken that's a good excuse for headers, because they use the other rear bolt hole.
If you decide to do it use PB blaster on all exhaust bolts the night before.

Shouldn't be too bad unless the bolts are really rusted out... then you got problems.
I changed one of my gaskets (too lazy to do the other one with the engine out of the car, but it wasn't difficult, especially the driver side which is easiest.
Do it yourself.

Hmm so do you mean by broken like stripped? or just blown out etc.. I was thinking of changing it myself, but it just looks like I got to take the bolts off the manifold and off the y-pipe right? And on the subject of headers Ive been thinking about getting some just need to save up, Ive been looking into the SLP ones runs for about $622 with a new y-pipe but Id rather just fix this for now so I can drive around without the annoying exhaust leak.

If you drop they stock y-pipe there is a 90% chance that you will snap the studs that hold the ypipe to the maifolds. So you will have to remove the manifolds and take them to get the rusty studs pressed out and new ones installed. If you fall in the lucky 10% then you have nothing to worry about, just soak them with PB blaster for a while, you can get it at Wal-Mart.

Ok I get that part so youre saying that to get the gasket onto the manifold Ill have to drop the y-pipe too right? I bet I wont be in that 10% because I dont think the noise is coming from the manifold bolt.

Yes you will have to drop the y-pipe. Your manifold could also be cracked. Easiest way to find the leak is run seafoam or something similar through the brake booster vaccum line and that makes a lot of smoke come out the exhaust and it will also come out of the leak.
