eveything bought except timing chain

ok i had my heads done by lloyd elliott, bought new xe cam,comp r lifters,lloyd did the double springs and ferrara valves new head bolts,30lb svo injectors,all gaskets,one stage cooler spark plugs, are you telling me their is no stronger timing chain unless i get an electric waterpump?i bought a brand new stock chain will i be ok?

with all that money your spending, cylodes makes a true double roller set that will work on the LT1's....$68 in jegs

There is the LT4 roller chain, that it stronger than the stock LT1 chain.

The other option is a Cloyles double roller that will work if you dont' have a crank-shaft sensor (94's don't though so you'r golden).

Do a seach here for details as many guys have done this.

If you want to go to a LOUD gear-drive design, or an EXPENSIVE belt-drive... or even a cool, O-ringed 2-piece timing cover (which is kind of pointless for an LT1)... you'll need an electric water pump.

With a non vented opti (93-94's) your pretty much stuck with a stock one.
