Angry Every person who has had a high RPM hesitation break up around 4800+ share with mePLS

What did you do to solve problem. Things to know about my car, blower(d-1), heads, and cam(fully built motor). The only thing i know its not is fuel. The opti is 2months old( does not mean its good BUT??), coil is msd blaster which has had many problem with others.

Anyone who has had this problem just let me know what it took to fix.

Side note what should voltage be from coil at idle mine is 13000volts sounds low to me!

I have way to much money and time in this thing to not have fun .

If I were you I would just replace that coil, I bought the MSD but I hear the Accel one is better. My breakup was at around 5200 rpm, but your coil could be worse than mine lowering the rpm which your broke up.

Grab a new ignition control module while you're at it. Cheap.

I assume the wires and plugs (gap, heat range, age) are also up to par?

I'm assuming the rockers are adjusted properly and the lifters are in good shape.

Try some new plugs. I had a hesitation above 5000rpm, and since on my last plug change we could not get the #2 out, it was still the original plug with 83k on it. I took the car to a GM dealer to get them to change it, and that one plug change fixed my hesitation. I also had them do the fuel filter, so that could've possibly helped too, but the old one was not that old, so chances are higher that the plug solved my power loss.

Well problem solved . First time i hit my car from 0-90 and wow my face is stuck on mode. It was the gay MSD coil, went back to delco and BAM. Im so happy now its track time now.

I have learned never buy after market anything unless its totaly needed. Same thing happened whit AM AFPR went to delco and problem solved.

Thanks for all the help guys

I would send the MSD coil back for warranty. They normally don't do that, but atleast my hunch was correct . In my case an MSD coil FIXED my problem from an ac delco one.
