had my car idling during that blackout last week, after a while i had the ordor of gas coming from the gas cap area. I had one of those locking caps in there, but i swapped it to the stock cap, but the smell didnt go away(that night anyway). so what you think? EVAP canister related?

also, got a *creek creek creek* noise if i were to push up and down on the right rear of my car. sounds like its right from the rear wheel well. what you think? shocks on it way out???

reason why Im asking is b/c Im taking my car in to have its A/C serviced b/c it blows hot air sometimes or barely gets cold, but will work decently sometimes... and I've recharged the system already. Car's covered under one of those full extended warranties so might as well have it all fixed while its in there and let that money i paid for that warranty get some usage. They all seemed to pop up like in the last month.

Could be a cracked or loose hose by the charcoal canister that is by the gas fill pipe or even the canister, itself. If you are taking it in, let them check it out.
