EV6 injectors on a LT1...

Anyone use Cobra (all blue) Injectors or any other EV6 style injector on their LT1? I have a couple questions:
1) Someone mentioned that they might leak, anyone experience that?
2) Also the stock retaining clips won't work on them, any suggestions or would they be fine without the clips?

As they are now, they are very snug in the rails, very difficult to remove them once I put them in, but I don't know if that will change when 40+ psi of fuel runs into the rails. Thanks for your help.

I don't know about the leaking, but I couldn't get the clips to fit on my injectors either, and they work just fine, no leaks. A lot of guys run SVO injectors and can't use the clips, and they work fine like that. Just put some silicon grease on the o-rings before installing them.

Do not use any sort of silicon lubricant on a surface that would allow it to somehow enter the combustion process. It contaminates the O2 sensors. A very light coating of motor oil is all you need.

I don't doubt that, but the instructions Racetronix sent me with my injectors told me to use the supplied silicon lube on the o-rings for installation. Of course I didn't smear it on, just a very light coat.
