Although they are a DOT rated tire, you don't want to drive them on the streets for the summer! They have soft side walls which will be marginally stable for corning, will wear very quickly and will cause you're death if you're caught out in the rain! If your looking for street traction, llok into the Nitto's or BFG Drag radials.

In spite of the name, they are not "street" tires by any stretch of the imagination. Besides what's already metioned, they have a very thin sidewall. Just touch a curb, and they will be history.

Not to mention that the sticky tread will pick up every piece of gravel on the road and sandblast the paint off your fender lips and quarter panels.....

Definitely not for "street" driving by "sane" people. I've driven maybe 6 miles to the track with them, and prayed that it didn't rain before I managed to get back home.
