The car is running 13.7s at about 96mph with 1.9 60fts.
I have CC305 cam and 1.6 rockers,planning to get some LE2 heads and
mac headers.
What should the car do et and mph with this stuff installed?
Also I have a zex nitrous kit to install in the car. Do you think a or low 11 or maybe a high 10 might be doable with this stuff.Car is pretty heavy like 3880 raceweight.I can maybe get a 12 bolt and then can run some et streets. Car of course would need rollbar at even 13.5.

 

1st...your mph is way low for that et. 2nd...at what elevation is your track? At sea level I would expect quicker times for a cammed lt1. I would think that with an le2 setup you should run in the 11s, again if you're at sea level.

yea when my car runs like crap, which is all the time, i run like 14.9 @ 96. I dont see how you can run a 13.7@96 also. My 14.9 was @ 2.0 60'

 

Well have to dig up my timeslip for 2.18 at 14.3 at 96mph.

Sure the clocks were right. So why is 13.7 at about same mph hard to believe a 1.9 60ft is basically 3 tenths better which is like 5 mph or so at the et end? Also think altitude correction would be about 3 tenths depending on density air and 3mph. So that 14.3 at sea level would be like 14.0 at 99mph.
And have no idea how you could run 14.9 at 96mph with a 2.0. I ran a 15.0 the year before at like 94mph with like a 2.38 60ft or something.I added a catback and 3.42 gears since ran the 15.0. The catback I guess gave me a couple of mph.My car is heavy like 3900 raceweight.
The car also has a 2800 vig since the 14.3.That is why can get 1.9 60fts.
And added underdrive and 58tb.
My cam and 1.6 rockers are not installed and want to buy headers and and heads.
I already have spray to install.
Also its possibly I mabye backed off before was totally finished the quarter.I was a bit confused as to where the readings were taken at our track. So the car might actally have a few more mph. I have seen fast cars at the track turn like 11.0 at slow mph from hitting their brakes too soon in brackets so maybe a simlar thing is happening. Next trip will for sure keep it floored past the timing sensors.

 

Sorry my post is not clear.I have the cc 305 and 1.6 pro mags but they are not installed yet. I meant have them and just need to buy the heads and headers. Sorry so car has the other stuff in there 2800 vig,3.42 gears, catback,etc. I would hope to get down at least 4 or 5 tenths from the cam and rockers, another 3 or 4 tenths from the headrs and another 4 or mabye 5 tenths from the heads and of course 1 second or more from the zex wet kit.

 

Any reason you chose the CC305 over something like the LE1 cam? Just curious.
