Pull them out =/. Trying to confirm this if possible, I built a new engine because of this damn noise and it didn't have it when I started the new one up. One rocker came loose and it started making this noise. Now it sounds like a real nasty ticking. Im praying its just because a pushrod wasn't on the lifter. GOnna buy a pushrod on the way home and give it a shot.

 

Christ that scared the crap out of me, found an extra bent one I overlooked. It was hitting something inside the lifter valley. *PHEW*.
