EOIC method verification

Ok...I'm going to try this method to adjust my rockers and I just want someone to tell me if I'm correct:

As the exhaust lifter/pushrod JUST begins to start going up (starts to open exhaust valve), I stop turning the crank and adjust that same cylinder's intake rocker. Once done, crank engine until that same cylinder's intake lifter/pushrod go to the top of their movement, then JUST start to come back down (starts to close intake valve), stop turning the crank at this point and adjust the exhaust rocker at this point...correct?! Then move on to the next cylinder in the firing order (or is it not necessary to follow the firing order)?

It's not necessary to follow the firing order but be sure you know what cylinders you've adjusted and which you have not. Yes that is the correct way to use that method. I've used it for 3 yrs now with not one single glitch.

I see a minor issue on adjusting your exhaust rocker. You need to go past max intake lift, then 1/2 to 2/3rds down. These are the directions from Comp Cams on installing the Pro Mags.

Step 8: Adjusting Exhaust Valves
To adjust exhaust valves, turn the engine over until the intake pushrod moves all the way up. Rotate past maximum lift, approximately one-half to two-thirds of the way back down. The lifter is now on the base circle and the exhaust valve can be adjusted.
