THe engines done now a few timing questions
THe engines done now a few timing questions
I got the engine back from the machine shop where they bored and honed and a few other things including putting it back together. The guy said that he put the number one on Top dead center menaing I'd have ot set the rotor to number one and it would be in time. But from what Ive heard the optispark can only be installed one way. Is it going be at number one wen i install it or what. I hate timing because its the one thing i cant do right. Let me know what to do

but the opti has an optical sensor that can sense where the cam is. with the cam properly installed- it should be able to fire on its own.
I installed my #1 at TDC just to make sure though
