engine trouble

Ok so here is what happened. I left a friends house saturday night and got on the car. It pulled really well all the way up the rpm range with no studer or hesitation. I let of the throttle and just cruised for a half mile. Stoped at a stop sign and then pulled out and the car was missing and spuddering then started popping through the cats. I think I burned through a plug wire as they really needed to be changed anyway. Where else should I look? This is the list of the mods done to the car.
Any suggestion would help
