The fuel pres reg gave. Sending fuel all trough out the engine. My budget is maybe 2500-3000 tops. I will also maybe need a new clutch eventually.

fully forged 383, or 396...don't go n/a...add a blower or better yet if the budget allows a turbo setup.

thats WAAAAAAAAAAAAYY to much. Also, i need to add this. I will be borrowing the money from my father. So it cant be extreme because he wont pay for it because he will think all that i wil do is race, which he already thinks.

you could probably get a cheap replaced motor locally at a junk yard for around $500. get it fully rebuild...machine shop fees around $300-$400. with new bearings (cam, main, rod)..... and then a new gasket set around $150. plus assembly $350...

while its out you could buy a cam, vavle springs, 1.6 rr's $580 from combo motorsports or a lot cheaper for the lt4 hot cam kit...

you could also get your heads p & p'd ...
