Engine Swap ?'s

I am interested in taking the motor out of my '97 m6 and putting it into a 94 a4, and the motor out of the 94 into my 97. What is different about these motors if anything? Please help w/ any ideas. The reason I am doing this is b/c I can pick up two 94 a4 cars and an ATI Procharger for 5k one a4 has a good motor and is wrecked but the other is in fair shape with a bad motor. Well you can figure out the rest. Please help... Matt I will be leaving the 6 speed in the 97 and the automatics in the 94's.

Installation is the reverse of the removal.

Is it easier to drop the engine out of the bottom or pull it through the top. I do have access to lifts etc.
