That would explain why it is running so rich as it is not going into closed loop. I think it has been like this ever since I bought it.
It doesn't seem to hurt the performance as the car goes liks ***k
It also explains why I only get 18 mpg on a run as speed density mode is set a bit on the rich side is it not?

I have just fitted my replacement MAF sensor, and my code 48 has gone and when I scan the car every every thing is working fine.

I bought my second hand MAF from ebay for $65 delivered to the UK what a bargain!
