My Camaro has been running extremely poorly as of lately. It hesitates and studders when it is hot and under load, but it runs okay when it is cold. I checked the fuel pressure and it was fine, but I havent really checked the ignition system.


Additionally, there is this weird sort of ticking noise coming from the engine, but its not valve tick. The noise is intermittent, and when it happens the engine stumbles a tiny bit (also the noise only seems to happen at idle). The best way to describe the noise is like a very sharp, noticeable tick.


What do you guys think? Might the noise and the poor performance be related?
