Question Engine not running good

Well I have a 1994 b4c with a 6 speed I have headers, no cat, and a catback and the car was running great untill the opti went bad. So last week i put a new opti, 58mm throttlebody and 36lb injectors. When i took it out to test it out today it idles at 2000 rpm for like 5 mins after i start it up and when i went to take off i stomped on the gas in 1st gear and it just acted really sluggish and was not running right..... I dont know whats wrong, the only thing i can think of is that i might need to send in my pcm and get it tuned?

You need to set your TPS sensor (it's adjustable), and adjust the throttle set screw.

With your ignition on and engine off, adjust the TPS to a voltage of like .7 (i believe).
Also if you're idle set screw isnt set in the right range, the PCM won't be able to maintain propler idle (through the IAC).

Did you get it retuned for the 36# injectors? that could also be a problem...

Edit: Just re-read it.. Could be in the tune, that would be what I check after you check the TSP.

Are you sure you correctly indexed the splined drive shaft for the Opti?

As suggested in post #2, did you check TPS voltage and IAC counts after installing the 58mm TB? Did you port the manifold for the TB?

Are you sure the rubber inlet elbow didn't get torn or folded under on the bottom, and not on the throttle body?

As asked on post #3, has the PCM ever been tuned for the 36# injectors?

What mods does the engine have, that require a 58mm TB and 36# injectors? Without providing a detailed mods list, it makes it harder for people to help. You must have some significant mods, since there would be no reason to put those parts on a stockish engine.
