Engine dyno's that can tune LT1 in the New England area?

After I get this built, I'd like to take it to an engine dyno to get it checked out and see what it does. Is it worth the cost to do it this way? Or better off to just stick it in the car and take it to a dynojet/mustang dyno?

I'd like to see what it actually does at the flywheel, as well as break it in, and be able to make sure everything is good to go.

Does an engine dyno shop need to be set up with anything specific to do an LT1?

Anyone know the costs, or have any advice?

Thanks...Dave

I'm sure they exist, but I've never seen one. They would need to have a wiring harness hooked up with a PCM for your engine and things like that, it's not like an old carb engine.

I'd just drop it in the car and have it dynoed then.

I'd hope any of the LT1 engine builders would be able to dyno/tune the engine, so I'd look that direction. MORE maybe - I don't know many back there. LPE did mine, but they're not exactly new england area...

Gotcha. Just something I was thinking of. I shot an email to all the engine dyno's in NY today. Only heard back from one though.
