I saw this seems to be the most frequented page here, so I thought I'd give it a try. I have 2 SBC I need to decode, I have the Chevy engine code book, but it doesnt help. The 1st engine is a 3892657 ( 327 1967 ) the suffix code is where I'm having problems, it V053TKL ??? Cannot find this anywhere, it just says its for a 350 or 400 ??? but it's a 327 ??? See why I need help. LAst engine in common 3970010, but suffix code T1012CKH7 - 17K424809, the CKH reveals a 350 in a FAX, Monte, or Caprice ??? but no one can figure out why there is a 7 at the end ??? anyways if anyone can help I'd appreciate it, you can email also !!!

Niether of those blocks sounds like a Gen 2 LT1, so you are likely posting on the wrong forum. Try one of the boards for the earlier generations of F-Bodys... 1st or 2nd Gen, or post the question on "Advanced Tech".... a lot of old farts post there
