Engine code problems
Engine code problems
I scanned my car today and got three codes
26-
27-
77-
I checked all the conectors, fuse, and the grounds. I cant seem to figure out what is causing the problem. The car stumbles at 1500-2000 rpm. The SES light shuts off when the car is in D and idleing at a stop light but come on as soon as I give it gas. Not sure what else to check, is it possible these sensors are on the same circut and there is a fusable link burt or something. The fan turns on when the light comes on also. Any help is appreciated Thanks

26- Quad driver module(QDM) #1 circuit /or Evap purge control solenoid circuit
Solenoid circuit faulty.... Wiring harness????
27- Quad driver module(QDM) #2 circuit /or EGR vacuum control solenoid circuit
Refer to 26
77- Coolant fan relay control
Fan relay short/ grounded?????

Did you check the 10amp fuse #6 in the U/H fuse box? Both 26 and 27 are telling you that the PCM is seeing the wrong voltage (probably not 12 volts) on the their respective control lines. Both evap and EGR solenoid are powered by that fuse.
Both items are also powered by the brown wire going thru connector C100. It's the black 10 pin connector located by the PCM. It's the brown wire on the end of the row next to the pink wire.

I learn something new every day....
I traced the brown wire out of the 10 pin connector down the inside of the fender and around the battery. The wire was broke right before it goes through the core support. I fixed it and hooked the battery back up and drove it and no SES light. Thanks guys for helping, I would have never found it without knowing which wire to look for.
