93camaro, the engine has a loss of power when i junp on it (wot) it will also miss and backfire at almost redline. when i drive it around it seems fine but when i get on it there just doesnt seem like there is any power. i checked the fuel pressure and it was fine. i also replaced the coil and that didnt help. the computer is not flashing any codes. has anybodey else had this problem, and how did you fix it.

 

Have you ever changed your catyletic converter? Sounds like what mine was acting like when it was clogged. After you turn the car off, pull the hood, and see if your exhaust manifolods/headers are glowing red.

i did put a high flow cat on. but my cat does constintly scrape on speed bumps and other stuff

something in your ignition. crappy or uncorrectly gapped plugs, wires, coil wire.

 

So you checked plugs and wires? How did they look?
