Re: electrical problems!!

You said something about you check all grounds and they were good. You also said the ground for the body was all messed up so you ran 1 from the oil pan to the battery. Well 1 problym i see with that is running a ground from the oil pan to the battery is grounding the motor NOT the body you might want to think about FIXING the ground for the body. Another thing is your gauge is part of the charging system you also need to check All your connections at your volt gauge grounds and positives good luck keep us posted

Re: electrical problems!!

after hours of hunting down wires we decided to switch out the alternator w/ a friends just for the heck of it. and the car is all good!!! so it must have been the battery to begin w/ and when i switched the alternator w/ a new one (not rebuilt) from checkers it had a bad regulator in it. so i am getting another new one from napa. when checkers tested it they said it was good, i told them to shove it and take back that piece of crap unit. from now on no more autozone or checkers only napa parts i have never had a problem w/ their stuff sure it's a little bit more but oh well nothing is too good for my baby. heheh
