electrical problem

i have had this problem since last summer and have already here posted before, but still cannot find the problem.
last summer i was taking out my radio and, like an idiot, touched hot and ground together and sparks flew. when that happened, my interior reading lamps went out. This short, or whatever it is, caused the keyless entry to not work, the chime for leaving headlights on to not work, the reading lamps to not work, and the radio to receive no power. so far, i have changed 5-25 amp fuses and have not yet solved the problem. is there maybe a fusible link that i corrupted? if so, can someone help identify it or if the problem is elsewhere (besides me) can someone please help. any suggestions or information will be grately appreciated. 6 months without radio is killing me. thanks a lot.

Your problem is the courtesy fuse #8 (15amp) in the IP fuse panel.

There are only 3 25 amp fuses in the entire fuse panel. Be sure not to use a fuse greater than the recommended size.

Check the wires that you touched together. Make sure that one isnt melted and still sitting on a fround or vice-versa. It may help to get the test light out and start trouble shooting the problem

sorry for updating so slowly. when i said 5-25 i meant all 5 amp through 25 amp fuses, not 5 of the 25 amp fuses. im not sure if i have checked the wires or not, its been so long. but ill check them again. meanwhile, if anyone has more suggestions for me that would be great. thanks a lot
