Try cooling your motor at the track on the stock pump, it won't work.

Basically the biggest reason for me is the cooling down the motor between runs at the track. As for the daily driven thing, don't sweat it, it should be fine.

I'm installing a CSI while I'm in there doing the hotcam kit now. The main reason I went with an electric was because I wanted to go with the Cloyes chain and didn't see any reason to spend over $200 for the LT4 extreme set when I could get the Cloyes & the pump for about the same price, and of course any extra HP gain is always good Plus my stock pump had close to 60K on it so it would probably need replacing down the road anyway.

If my car was still my daily driver I probably would not have switched to an electric though just due to some of the issues I have heard with people being stuck when they go out.

I have had my CSI pump for over 1 year, drove the car daily last summer. Even with ac it NEVER ran hot.I have since removed the AC and the car runs slightly cooler.
My stock pump failed, and was starting to leak over the opti.If anything, the new setup migh leak out the weephole, and that will be minor compared to leaking out the bearing/shaft hole.
I would recommend the CSI pump to ANYone.

Well.... with the car getting hot... the ONLY time my car ever got "warmer" than it normally does (With 160, CSI, and 175* fans, it Always sits at ~175, and never gets any higher) was when I was messing around on the highway for about an hour straight hovering between 75 and 100 the entire time, and even then it only got up to just before the middle tick.

I dunno where you guys get that it gets hot under "normal" driving. I've had it on my car for the past 15K with no issues what so ever. I know that's not a lot, but even still.
